For Poles it’s a night of magic, fortune telling and fun; for Scots it’s a celebration of their patron saint, and for all-comers in Kraków it’s an opportunity to let your hair down, mingle, and sample the hospitality of what is fast becoming a legendary bar in the city centre.
We refer, of course, to Saint Andrew’s (November 30) – or Andrzejki, as it is in Polish – which will be celebrated this year at Cheers pub, ulica Grodzka 31. There will be Scottish and Polish music and food, but tickets, at around 50zł a throw, are strictly limited. Find out more at the bar’s Facebook page, or visit cheers-pub.com.
