The 8th SLOT Fest will be held at Kraków’s High School Number 2 (II Liceum Ogólnokształcące, ul. Sobieskiego 9) on November 10 and 11, bringing together adults and children to share their creative experience, skills and ideas.
The theme for the two-day event is Turkey – conjuring up images of a dusky east, rich coffee, mysterious arts and sumptuous carpets. There will be around 50 workshops, including art, music, dance, juggling, theatre, sports and more, along with lectures on self-development, discussions, exhibitions and concerts.
SLOT Fest’s popularity comes from the people and atmosphere at the events. The organisers have successfully built on the idea of an open space that becomes ‘complete’ and fulfills its purpose when people attend. So, if you’ve a passion in life – from literature to art, entrepreneurship to volunteering, cooking to dancing, find out more and register now to take part. You can also get in touch with the organisers to propose ideas or offer voluntary help, by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets for the whole event cost 25zł. Day tickets are 15zł, and family tickets (up to two adults and three children up to the age of 10) cost 20zł. Children pay half price, and tickets can be pre-booked, from October 26, for 20zł each.
