In fact, premiere is too small a word for this event, which will bring the much awaited Beasts of the Southern Wild to Kraków – ten days before it goes on general release in Poland.
Benh Zeitlin’s new movie is a good old-fashioned good against evil – pitting its six year old protagonist against all manner of difficulties, including a grumpy old dad and global warming. It will be on at Kino pod Baranami on October 2, then will be released in Poland on October 12.
It’s a great week for family films, with the Polish magical fantasy Felix, Net i Nika oraz Teoretycznie Możliwa Katastrofa hitting the screens too. Mums and dads may think they’re going to get an hour or two to themselves by taking the kids, but the whole family will be engrossed.
