An Egyptian scholar who has been repeatedly jailed for her human rights activities will give the opening lecture at a conference about tolerance, in Kraków later this month.
Professor Nawal el Saadawi has been honoured internationally for her work, and will be among several experts in the fields of tolerance and human rights, who will speak at the conference on October 18-20.
Kraków’s Villa Decius Association has been organising events exploring the ideas of freedom since 2005. This year the theme will be tolerance, with a conference organised jointly with the International History of Ideas Research Centre and the International History of Ideas Club of the Jagiellonian University.To register for the conference, email Katarzyna Renes at email@example.com.
