Halloween is a bit of an anomaly in staunchly Catholic Poland – as the biggest festival at this time of the year is still All Saints’ (Wszystkich Świętych), November 1.
So it’s a rare opportunity indeed to be able to take the kids along to a workshop where they can make their own pumpkin lantern, and learn all abou this staple of the autumn diet. There will be baking, crafts, games and more, for children aged from three.
The event will be run by Dzieciaki w formie, on October 20, at Sweet Surrender, ul. Zabłocie 25. Children aged three to five can join in at 11am, while there be sessions for those aged six to seven at 1.30pm, and for the eights and over at 4pm. The cost is 30zł per person, all inclusive.
