Now there’s a new organisation to promote the connection between these two great nations, currently administered by the Centre for History at the University of the Highlands and Islands and the Department of the History of English at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Not to be outdone, Kraków has its own group – take a look at Scots and Fans of Scotland, and find out who will be stripping off and baring all for a charity calendar.
And whatever you do, don’t forget that the Polish Andrzejki celebration is also Saint Andrew’s Day. Apparently, he’s quite the chap in Scotland…
