Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków will be open free throughout November, as part of a national initiative organised by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage.
Wawel, along with the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Royal Łazienki Museum, and the Wilanów Palace Museum are taking part in the Modern Patriotism programme, opening up Poland’s cultural heritage to a wider audience for free.
As well as admission to exhibitions, visitors can take part in workshops and other events.
Free passes are available at the Wawel ticket office – but places are limited. See the official website for opening times.
