On the night of November 9, 1938, synagogues, homes, shops and other buildings belonging to members of the Jewish communities in Nazi Germany and Austria were destroyed. The Kristallnacht action resulted in the deaths of almost 100 Jews, and thousands more were sent to concentration camps.
Tonight, November 8, there will be a lecture commemorating the anniversary of the events of 1938, at Kraków’s Galicja museum, from 4pm.
