A fleet of cars belonging to bankrupt finance firm Amber Gold is to be sold at auction later this month – with the boss’s prized BMW 740D first under the hammer.
In all, 134 vehicles will be offered for sale, and are expected to fetch in the region of 7.1 million złoty. The BMW owned by Amber Gold boss Marcin P – currently being held by police in Gdańsk – is listed at 226,000 złoty.
The Amber Gold fleet can be viewed from November 20-22. If anything takes your fancy, you might be able to pick up a bargain at the auction, at the court on ulica Piekarnicza in Gdańsk, on November 26, 27 and 28.
Amber Gold collapsed in the summer of 2012, owing at least 50,000 clients 80 million złoty. The company’s chief executive, 29-year-old Marcin P, faces criminal charges relating to not filing the correct financial reports, falsifying documents, and breaching banking law. Authorities are still trying to trace the company’s assets.
