Kraków has been named one of the ten most beautiful cities in Europe by prestigious travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
The city ranked joint eighth with Prague, winning 78.4 points out of 100. Kraków’s atmosphere and friendliness were considered its best assets by voters in the poll.
It’s the third prize that Kraków has won in as many years – after taking second place in the Zoover City Trip poll in 2011. And the city centre was placed among the best UNESCO sites in the world, in National Geographic’s 2010 poll.
The top ten Conde Nast cities were Florence, Barcelona, Rome, Paris, Vienna, Venice, Budapest, Kraków, Prague and Salzburg.
