The ‘Healthy Kielce’ programme offering screening and other preventative tests has been extended to 2013 in order to meet demand.
The programme dealt with 2,291 patients in 2012, and before the end of January this year had already received 380 enquiries.
Healthy Kielce is a Polish-Norwegian partnership programme funded by the city council. One of the aims of the extension period is to look for changes in health among those who had already had tests and changed their lifestyles. Lung capacity and function, heart and blood tests are all available.
The tests are carried out by Bio-Medic, at ulica J. Nowaka Jeziorańskiego 87), ul. Prusa 1 and ul. Zagórskiej 15. Visit the firm’s website for more information.
