Mayday and Mayday II – Teatr Opole

British farce doesn’t get more farcical than Ray Cooney, and Mayday – the Polish version of his hit play Run For Your Wife – is among the best he ever wrote.

It’s the story of cabbie John Smith, who lives a double life with two wives, in two parts of London, and seems to be doing very well in juggling both of them.

That is until he runs into trouble – quite literally – after he is robbed in the street and has to explain why he has two addresses. Can John keep his bigamy a secret? Find out in this show, at Teatr Opole. Both the original and the sequel will be shown in February, on Feb 21 and 28 (Mayday II) and Feb 5, 26 and 27 (Mayday).
