The Fire Service in Zielona Góra has a new commander.
Dariusz Mach took up the post at the head of the city’s Straż Pożarna on February 1. He replaces Waldemar Michałowski, who served for 21 years and is now deputy commander of the service in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Mr Mach is 44 years old, and has been with the fire service for 26 years. Before taking up the new post, he was deputy commander, under Mr Michałowski.
