A Wrocław teenager has won the fair play sailing award at the World Cup in Hobart – but narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing in fourth place
Piotr Szlachcic, 16, current European Cadet Class champ, sailed in the competition with 12-year-old crew member Eryk Martynko. They were competing against 40 teams from around the world.
The pair won the fair play award after owning up to a mistake missed by judges.
