 Szuflada Szymborskiej, Dom Szołayski

Take a rare peek into the life of Nobel Laureate Wisława Szymborska, at a new exhibition in her home town of Kraków.

Szymborska was an unrepentant hoarder, and collected knick-knacks, both purchased and gifts from friends. She kept them in a gigantic chest of drawers in her apartment on ulica Piastowska, along with her manuscripts, letters, masks, hand-made collages and more.

Now they form part of a new permanent exhibition, alongside furniture from her flat, at Dom Szołayski.
