Absurb, anarchic, but never everyday… welcome to the world of Cezary Bodzianowski – who seems determined to present a unique persona right down to the very lack of Polish characters in his name.
This exhibition is the first retrospective of his work, going back to his early recognition in the 1990s. It’s difficult to categorise, as Bodzianowski’s artistic endeavour takes the form of interventions, twisting small details of life to create double-take moments and send you away with a nagging sense that what you just saw might not (or could not) actually have been real.
Enjoy the exhibition at Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, until March 3.
