Gdynia has a new police station, and a new squad car to go with it.
The station at ulica Korczaka, Redłowo was opened at an official ceremony on January 28. It replaces the old station at Wzgórze Św. Maksymiliana.
The new police station covers four floors and is 1,500 metres square. It was formally opened by Wojciech Szczurek, Mayor of Gdynia, and Krzysztof Gajewski, Deputy Chief of police. Also in attendance were Superintendent Wojciech Sobczak, Junior Inspector Robert Leksycki, and Deputy Inspector Katarzyna Sobków.
Prelate Bogusław Głodowski was on hand to provide the blessing for the new facility.
