Poland’s first ‘air cinema’ is to open in Kraków in March, including seats straight from a genuine Boeing aircraft.

The Polish Aviation Museum in Nowa Huta will show films connected with flying and the history of flight, in the specially created 50-seat auditorium from next month.

Visitors to the museum will be able to view the films at no extra cost, though because of the small size of the cinema and the popularity of the museum, there may be queues.

If you’re looking for popcorn, 3D and special effects, though – forget about it. Such things would, say the musuem’s bosses, sacrilege in such a place.

Picture: Top Gun is one of the most successful flying movies of all time.
