Police have arrested a 32-year-old Russian man in the connection with the murder of a family of three in Gdańsk.
Adam K, his girlfriend Agnieszka and their daughter Nina were found dead in their apartment at ulica Długa 30/31, on March 14 at 5pm.
An autopsy confirmed that all three had been shot – although initial analysis suggested that the child had been beaten.
Officers raided an apartment at ul. Władysława IV in Elbłąg, on the evening of March 15. There they arrested the Russian, who was taken by surprise and did not attempt to resist. Police said that he had been ‘packed and ready to leave Poland’ and that guns were also recovered from the address.
If convicted of murder, the Russian man faces life in prison.
