A suspected serial rapist whose alleged victims included two 14-year-old girls has appeared in court in Kielce.
Mariusz J, 34, is accused of seven counts of rape and sexual assault, dating back to 2010. The Kielce Prosecutor said his victims also included women aged 18 and 19, and that the attacks took place in secluded park and woodland areas around Świętokrzyska.
A spokesman for Świętokrzyska police said a special team of the most experienced rape investigation officers had been drafted in, to identify and catch the attacker. If convicted, Mariusz J faces at least 15 years in prison.
